Rules for book signings

 

 

 

Caution! A lunch break is scheduled for authors Sunday from 12:30 to 14:00...
 

• The signings will be held at Sports Hall, where the authors are placed inside a Square.

 

• The Festival's bookseller is installed inside the Square and sell albums directly to visitors in the queues.

 

• The purchase of a comic at the Festival's bookstore is mandatory to obtain an autograph per person per round waiting in an album of your choice, provided that the author agrees.

 

• You can bring your own comics to dedicate to the Festival by purchasing a comic at the bookstore.

 

• Whatever the album (purchased at the Festival or own), you have the right to only one dedication per person per round waiting.

 

• Visitors in the queue buy the album at the time of the dedication to ensure it.

 

• Have regard for the authors present at work.

 

• Be understanding and patient towards others visitors during round waiting.

 

• Do not waste the time or the kindness of the authors.

 

• Observe the authors break times

 

• Behave according to the basic rules of etiquette in society.

 

• It is forbidden to reserve a place in a queue with any object (eg backpack). "Abandoned" objects can be moved by the organizers.

 

• It is possible that the author wishes to establish a system of "priority tickets" to those present in the queue before lunch. In this case :

  • Maximum 10 tickets may be distributed, and this, whatever the number of people in the queue, and only at the closing of the queue. After this closing, the queue will be marked as closed for the morning.

  • Any bags or other objects in the queue will not receive a ticket, and no claim will be made.

  • A person cannot receive more than one ticket (even for different authors).

  • Tickets are valid only upon return of the author after lunch. They cannot be used to fit into the queue at any time of the afternoon. You are kindly requested to be present in the queue a few moments before the return of the author.

  • There will be no tickets distributed on Saturday evening for Sunday.
